Discount offering on CFL bulbs

Progress Energy is introducing a CFL tuber bonus module currently written to save business an normal of $1.50 per tuber purchased.

Customers who buy one Energy Star rated compress fluorescent light tuber at comparison Home Depot stores will get a free 14-watt turn CFL. The extent is twelve free bulbs per customers.

In the Triangle, the free bulbs will be at the Home Depot at 2031 Walnut St. in Cary.

"Its not similar to a remission where they have to send it in -- the a bonus right there at the store," Progress orator Mike Hughes said.
